WHO Coronavirus Myth Busters Widget

Thanks to a colleague at my school, Murat Turk, I learned about this page of W.H.O. Coronavirus Myth Busters, and I thought they were so useful that I decided to make a randomizer with them to put in the sidebar of my class announcements blog. (More about that here: Be There with Blogging.)

There are 14 myths busted, and one shows up at random each time this page reloads: reload the page.

I'm glad to share this widget with anyone who wants to use it! I put the widget in the sidebar of this blog too, plus here in this post. To find out how to use this widget in your own posts, pages, or LMS, scroll on down. You can see all 14 myths and graphics at the W.H.O. Coronavirus Myth Busters page!

If you are working in an environment like Blogger, you can just copy and paste the javascript, choosing the width that works for your space. I've prepared this in different widths:

200 pixels:
<script type="text/javascript"> var display = " " </script><script type="text/javascript" src="https://widgets.lauragibbs.net/whomb/whomb200.js"></script>

400 pixels:
<script type="text/javascript"> var display = " " </script><script type="text/javascript" src="https://widgets.lauragibbs.net/whomb/whomb400.js"></script>

500 pixels:
<script type="text/javascript"> var display = " " </script><script type="text/javascript" src="https://widgets.lauragibbs.net/whomb/whomb500.js"></script>

800 pixels:
<script type="text/javascript"> var display = " " </script><script type="text/javascript" src="https://widgets.lauragibbs.net/whomb/whomb800.js"></script>

If you are working in an environment (like an LMS) that allows iframe but does not allow javascripts, here is the iframe version you can use:

 200 pixels:
<p><iframe src="https://widgets.lauragibbs.net/canvas/whomb200.html" width="250" height="280"></iframe></p>

400 pixels:
<p><iframe src="https://widgets.lauragibbs.net/canvas/whomb400.html" width="420" height="320"></iframe></p>

500 pixels:
<p><iframe src="https://widgets.lauragibbs.net/canvas/whomb500.html" width="520" height="380"></iframe></p>

800 pixels:
<p><iframe src="https://widgets.lauragibbs.net/canvas/whomb800.html" width="820" height="530"></iframe></p>

So, for example, if you have a Canvas Page, you can copy and paste that code into the insert media / embed dialogue box, and the widget will appear:

You can see all four sizes in a Canvas Page here:
